Starting a Creative Venture

If there is one thing I've learned over the past 5 years, it's that life rarely gives you any breaks. And then once you have a break, you better savor it because you'll be thrown for a loop in the coming weeks/months. This is something that I feel most people need to learn and accept or they will suffer the consequences.

You might be wondering what this has to do with starting a Creative Venture. Well it has everything to do with it! When you begin your journey into content creation, you'll be met with resistance of all kinds. It's up to you to learn how to navigate the obstacles that appear before you and once you have that down, you are one step closer to success!

What is a Creative Venture?

As it has been explained in Entry 1 of the Arthadian Anthologies Podcast, a creative venture is a risky/daring journey that, at its heart, is for a creative mind. If you are to begin on this journey you are going to need to have the right mindset! Allow me to expand on this:

Reborn in Power: Old Scans

Every Creative Venture is never ending, you are in it until one of two things happens; (1) you give up, (2) you give up!

This world is full of people who start things and then once they realize it wasn't for them, they give up on it. It's not bad to give up but it's also not good.

Giving up is a sign that someone has lost their passion, distracted themselves too much, and/or has accepted defeat.

In order to keep from giving up you will need to stay persistent & determined to work on whatever creative project you are focused on. To do this, try following a schedule, work on the project at least 20 minutes a day, and keep a positive outlook on what you are working on. There is one obstacle that will be your greatest resistance and that is...

Self-Resistance:

Better known as self-doubt, you will always be your greatest obstacle in any creative venture you set yourself on. There will be many who enjoy the work you do and many who despise the work you do. And so many of us focus on the negatives rather than the positives. It's fine to be critical of your own work, but it must come from a place of constructive criticism. What this means is you must acknowledge your strengths from your weaknesses, but not allow your weaknesses to outshine your strengths.

Keep a positive outlook on your work, stay passionate because that it what flocks people toward you, and be true to yourself! There are too many people out there trying to force a narrative onto creators of all kinds, do not allow that to sway you. Be proud of the work you do and stay focused on the goals you plan to achieve!

Ventures Found Here:

If you or anyone you know is interested in starting a Creative Venture but does not know where or how to start, why not start here? This may seem like an advertisement but I'm not just doing this for me, this is for any creators that are looking for an avenue to write their stories, promote their art, and expand their legacy!

This may be the creative venture I started, but in no way am I going to finish it by myself.

Just as our very Universe allows us all to be born and live alongside one another, so should the Universes we create.

Coming together, building & expanding our own stories that have been forged in our minds, this is what the world needs.

Our culture has shifted into a dark place, and we need to make the shift back to a brighter one! That is why I started this venture, and it is why I will never give up on it!

So for those of you who are in the process of looking for a place to feature your creative works, whether they be stories or art, look no further because you have a home here!
